Section 245(i) Adjustment of Status

If you are the beneficiary of a petition filed on your behalf prior to April 30, 2001, you may adjust your status in the United States, if eligible. You may also be "grandfathered in" by Section 245(i) if this petition was filed on behalf of one of your relatives and you are a derivative beneficiary.

You may be eligible for voluntary departure under the Family Unity Program. This program will grant you employment and travel authorization while you are waiting to be eligible for adjustment of status.
